posted in: Paintings | 0

The painting depicts a sailboat painted with bright red and dark cobalt blue sailing in a rough sea. There are two people riding the boat that appear like talking to each other. The ocean it’s a dark blue with different reflections of colors from the sky while the boat is dramatically tilted by the wind. It’s a day with a limpid sky, but the wind is getting progressively strong. However, the two men seem to keep enjoying their day and keep talking to each almost untouched by the strong wind.

The inspiration for this painting come from a beautiful Australian sailboat called Ringle 39. The boat was designed by Andrew Dovell and is manufactured by Sydney Harbour boat builders of Australia.
